There's a simple explination for that.. we have a design finished and I just say what we have :)

We try to never, ever release something that will change so we only talk about things that are already fully hammered out or that we don't want someone else to take :P

Fair enough, sadly with something this innovative there are bound to be copycats that come around, so the best plan is to not give them the chance to copy before you have a working model that already has a solid base of players. On the other hand though with the sheer size of the world and element that are already released it would take a while for them to be truly copied, so CoS should be well into full release by the time any serious competition comes around, so long as you play your hand close to your chest. So keep up the great work and give us what you can, when you can.

In my opinion I really do think CoS will change the genre like EQ did, except it will be much greater. I honestly cant wait to see when the devs show this game off and what it can do and start drooling over it and wishing they had done something similar. I believe this game will be really successful and alot of other companies will try and copy CoS lol. The only other upcoming mmo that I thought might possibly be a genre changer was the upcoming EQnext...but now I'm going with CoS. This is a real gem the developers have. :)
