Actually this is what makes it more fun. An endurance test to see how far you can get into an unknown area. How far can you push forward before you are overwhelmed?

This has been a mindset of Raiders since Ultima Online. Its actually one of the driving reasons the Raider system was created. To get a large group or groups of players to challenge more difficult content that small groups could never do.

If a player dies then the rest of the group has to communicate and fill in the gap.

An interesting note: During Vanilla WoW they had 40 man player raids for content that took upwards of 8 consecutive hours to complete. Many guilds including one I was a Raid leader for managed them with less than 35 on occasion because we picked up the slack of players who left or couldn't show up instead of spending 20 minutes to an hour looking for a few players to fill in.

Dying when challenging hard to near fatal content is kind of a given.... Thats how things go. If a player has the mindset to make a comment like you posted:

Oh, one member of our fifty man raid died. We should go back


Then that person shouldn't be in an endurance group. and is more than likely not a raid style player.

...I'm agreeing with you Akumawraith. That was sarcasm. I was saying it would be weird if they did go back.
